Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This foot attaches to the leg of the GERi/KERi basic-care manikins and simulates lower-limb edema with five pitting levels. Each of the five interchangeable inserts responds differently to finger pressure, allowing the clinical finding to be graded much as it would present in a real patient.

Alongside the edema, the model reproduces deep tissue necrosis at the heel, a typical pressure-ulcer site in bedbound or low-mobility patients. This supports training in skin assessment and pressure injury staging.
