What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This pressure ulcer simulator shows ulcers of categories 1, 2, 3 and 4. The buttocks of a geriatric patient also present a deep tissue injury, an unstageable necrosis and a dehisced wound of about 12 cm.
The life-size model is made of soft plastic and is ideal for wound care exercises, for negative pressure wound therapy and for all other care.
