Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The device generates realistic ECG rhythms and connects directly to a defibrillator or external pacer using adapters, without needing to be attached to a manikin, allowing defibrillation and pacing to be practised in short sessions or with equipment from different manufacturers.
It reproduces 17 adult and paediatric cardiac rhythms — including various ventricular fibrillation and tachycardia patterns, atrial flutter and fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, asystole and several bradycardias — with realistic QRS, P and T wave morphology in 3-lead or 4-lead configuration.
A convert feature allows a different rhythm to be selected right after defibrillation, and the device auto-shuts off to save battery when not in use.
