Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Realistic, reusable model for building confidence in transvaginal cerclage placement. It is designed for obstetrics and gynaecology trainees and specialists and allows practice of the McDonald and rescue cerclage techniques on soft-feel platinum-cure silicone with realistic movement.

Developed with clinical educators, it accurately reproduces vaginal and cervical tissue. Its flexible structure allows realistic handling and the base is secured to the table with a clamp for stability. It includes four interchangeable cervical inserts representing different cervix types and degrees of dilatation, one of them for advanced rescue scenarios.

It is an alternative to cadaveric or live tissue training, suitable for simulation labs, workshops, hospital teaching and OSCE preparation. It sets up in under two minutes and is cleaned with commercial disinfectant wipes.
