Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The BE.DENT.LIGHT and BE.DENT.OPTIMAL dental trainers are intended for developing manual skill in dentistry, for students, residents and specialists. They reproduce the real conditions of the dental appointment and simulate work on the dental unit to a high level of accuracy.
Real dental instruments are used: air/water syringe, saliva ejector, high-speed handpiece and low-speed handpiece. The manikin head carries a universal upper and lower jaw model for preparation and restoration, with soft gingiva and a set of 28 removable, replaceable teeth, plus water drainage. The teeth are held without screws, which also allows extraction to be practised. The built-in metal articulator reproduces the natural movements of the lower jaw in occlusion, protrusion and retrusion.
The whole training session is recorded on camera and a video file is stored per user, kept in the library and used for the report or for an appeal. The broadcast option lets the teacher stream their own performance to the students’ trainers, or each student stream theirs to the teacher’s, who can watch up to six monitors at once.
Compared with the BE.DENT.LIGHT, the OPTIMAL adds a built-in lesson editor that lets the teacher create and edit exercises themselves, tailoring the trainer to each group’s needs.
