Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Durable, flexible silicone abdomen that simulates a medium-sized pregnancy belly, between 5 and 7 months of gestation. It is placed around the standardised patient or manikin and fastened with hook-and-loop strips on the sides onto a Veltex backing fabric panel, so that it sits firmly on the body.

A simulation baby, with or without a uterus, can be inserted through the top opening to set up birth scenarios. It also accepts foreign bodies or wounds created with FX gel or stick-on wounds to extend trauma scenarios in the pregnant patient.
