Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Avtrach, a high-fidelity, wearable tracheostomy simulator, is designed to replicate an anterior thorax so tracheostomy care and suctioning can be authentically replicated in simulation. Through a wireless connection between Avtrach and the app, an assortment of lung sounds can be changed at any time by the educator from the control room. These lungs are ready for the ventilator-connection configuration, supplied as a separate reference, which keeps the patient in line with suctioning.
Key features
- Realistic Suction Experience. This antimicrobial, simulated mucus ensures a realistic suctioning experience.
- Lung Sounds. Learners can listen to the full range of lung sounds using their personal stethoscopes, helping to maintain fidelity throughout the simulation.
- Pressure Sensor. If excessive pressure is applied to the tracheostomy plate, the strap vibrates to cue the wearer.
- Carina Sensor. If the suction catheter hits the carina, the wearer is cued through a vibration in the strap.
- Skin tones. 3 skin tone offerings.
