Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This set combines a fetal ultrasound practice model with a series of eight hand-painted anatomical reproductions, each showing a different stage of intrauterine development, from 4 weeks to full-term pregnancy (including a 5-month twin model).
It is used both to teach the progression of embryonic and fetal development in embryology and obstetrics classes, and to practise interpreting ultrasound images by relating them to the real anatomy of each stage.
