Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model reproduces realistic anatomical structures with clear bony landmarks: costal margin, xiphoid process, rectus abdominis, umbilicus, inguinal region, anterior superior iliac spine and iliac crest. It can be positioned in the left or right lateral decubitus position for percussion practice.
It supports abdominal paracentesis, with a clear give sensation on passing through the wall, and aspiration of simulated abdominal effusion. It also supports iliac crest bone marrow puncture practice.
It is intended for clinical teaching and residency training.
