Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The adult simulator for ultrasound-guided central venous catheter placement is ideal for practising both blind central venous access placement and ultrasound-guided placement.

Each model includes an insert with the vascular access anatomy of the upper chest and neck region. This model is excellent for using the traditional external anatomical landmarks in the placement of central lines by blind technique, or for using ultrasound/ultrasonography as a guide during the central venous access procedure.

The tissue has self-healing properties, allowing more than 1000 punctures when used with 18–21G needles.
