Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The leg has palpable anatomical landmarks that help locate the intraosseous needle insertion point on the proximal tibia. It is compatible with practising B.I.G., EZ-IO and virtually any other intraosseous infusion device on the market.
Unlike the non-fluid version, this model incorporates a pressurised system: correctly inserting the needle allows simulated blood to be aspirated, giving the trainee objective confirmation of having reached the medullary cavity, just as in real clinical practice.
The bones and skin pads are replaceable, allowing the puncture exercise to be repeated many times before the wear parts need replacing.
