What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Set of four shoulder models, at reduced size, illustrating degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis) of the glenohumeral joint: erosion of the articular cartilage, progression of the degenerative disease, formation of osteophytes on the articular surfaces and flattening of the humeral head. The normal stage includes the complete scapula. The advanced stage shows osteoarthritis of the acromioclavicular joint. All the stages show the ligaments.
