Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The “Second-Degree Burn” wound simulation sleeve enables the realistic simulation of severe burn injuries for training and continuing education in emergency medical services, fire services, hospitals, disaster response and tactical medicine.
The sleeve is simply pulled over the upper arm or lower leg of a training subject or manikin, creating a convincing injury scenario within seconds. It simulates a second-degree burn with typical characteristics such as extensive skin damage and blistering. In certain areas the simulation already shows the transition to a third-degree burn, allowing particularly realistic emergency scenarios after fires or explosions.
Made from a soft specialty material, the sleeve has a realistic appearance and a natural feel. Internal fabric reinforcement provides high tear resistance and makes the sleeve robust and durable, suitable for regular use in training and drill scenarios.
