Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The MT0031 sleeve is made from realistic platinum silicone with an internal mesh that gives it strength and lets it stretch without tearing. It reproduces the appearance of a closed fracture, with swelling and bruising but no open wound.

The back has a Velcro strip and a separate Veltex backing fabric. To fit it, the Veltex fabric is attached to the Velcro on one side of the silicone piece, wrapped around the arm of the simulated patient or manikin, and secured with the Velcro on the other side. This makes it possible to adjust the size and position for each scenario.

Each piece is hand-painted by FX artists for a credible clinical finish, and can be combined with make-up, blood or simulated dirt. It is reusable and can be cleaned with warm soapy water or isopropyl alcohol.
