Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model simulates an adult buttock, with a realistic appearance and tactile response, and palpable anatomical landmarks: iliac crest, posterior superior iliac spine, sacrum and coccyx.
It supports practice of injection at the three gluteal sites (gluteus maximus, medius and minimus). An electronic monitoring system detects an incorrect injection site or depth, and gives a voice alert with indicator lights, with a choice between silent and voice modes. It runs on a rechargeable lithium battery.
