Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The Trauma Arm Simulator is a realistic upper-limb training model extending from the fingers to the upper arm, designed for combat and emergency medical education. It features anatomically accurate vessel pathways, hand-painted wounds and a functional bleeding system for realistic haemorrhage control training.
The simulator reproduces five arterial bleeding wounds: entry and exit gunshot wounds (brachial artery), a crush wound with ulnar artery and tissue bleeding, a self-inflicted wound parallel to the vessel (radial artery) and a stab wound (brachial artery). It supports proper tourniquet application on the upper arm in accordance with TCCC guidelines and allows wound packing for exit and stab wounds. An internal two-piece core, separated at the elbow, enables natural flexion without a mechanical joint, while the durable silicone body realistically imitates soft tissue.
Independent manual bleeding control allows adjustable intensity for each wound.
