This training model was developed for a manufacturer of a contraceptive implant to train doctors in implanting and explanting the contraceptive implants. It represents the upper arm of a woman showing muscle and skin layer. After implanting it shows the position of the implant underneath the skin.

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This training model was developed for a manufacturer of contraceptive implants in order to teach doctors to insert and remove the implants. It represents a woman’s arm with the muscle layer and the skin layer. Once inserted, it shows the position of the implant under the skin.
