Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
TERi builds on the GERi/KERi full-body manikins with a more realistic look and feel. Its joints are weighted and fully articulated, reproducing the frailty of an elderly patient and supporting practice of positioning, patient handling and fall prevention.
The advanced version adds auscultation: the instructor can select different heart and lung sounds from a wireless remote control with an LCD display, without interrupting the simulation scenario. It also includes an arm for IV and injectable access.
The manikin is androgynous: it ships with female genitalia installed, with the option to swap in male genitalia, allowing the same model to be adapted to different hygiene and care scenarios.
