Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Advanced abdominal model made of skin-safe silicone. It can be attached to a manikin or worn by a standardised patient, allowing the surgical approach to be integrated into team simulations.
The base contains the inferior vena cava and aorta with integrated bloodlines, liver, stomach, small and large intestine with omentum, an additional pathological appendix and a bladder with a tube for introducing fluid; the spleen is optional. It is covered with one of the two abdominal skins, which are attached with Velcro.
It is designed for open abdominal procedures: incision, suturing, clamping and organ handling. It is supplied with a repair kit and carry case.
