What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The Set of simulators for male and female urinary catheterisation makes it possible to demonstrate, practise and assess the male and female urinary catheterisation technique realistically. The genital parts are easily interchangeable and are fitted to the stand by magnetic fastenings. Both parts are made of soft material. The foreskin and the labia are movable and the penis can be stretched. In this way, the student practises all the manual movements (e.g. disinfection) needed to perform routine catheterisation. The material of the genital parts provides a realistic sensation when inserting and withdrawing the catheter from the bladder, with a resistance and an insertion depth very close to those of a real patient.

- We recommend using catheters with a single eye or with two level eyes. Both silicone and PVC catheters are suitable. We recommend the following catheters:
- Urethral stricture "open narrowing" = Ch 16 catheter or Ch 14 balloon catheter
- Urethral stricture "partial narrowing" = Ch 14 catheter or Ch 12 balloon catheter
