Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model reproduces the buttocks, anus, anal canal and rectum, already positioned in the left lateral position, the standard position for rectal examination. It includes a set of nine stool samples of varying consistency, from soft to hard, which are placed in the rectum for practising identification by palpation.
It comes with a folder of 13 laminated photographs of different anal sphincter conditions, used as reference material for recognising abnormal findings during the examination.
It is supplied with lubricating jelly, an instruction manual and a rigid carrying case; the material is latex-free.
