What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Training model for practising intramuscular puncture and the iliac crest puncture procedure. The model includes an artificial pelvis made of a material similar to human bone that can be punctured repeatedly. It is not possible to aspirate fluid. Used as an i.m. model, the pelvis can be palpated to identify the correct injection position. It is designed as economical, disposable training material and should be replaced after intensive use. Life size.
