Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Scale model of a sheep on a stand, approximately 2/3 life size. It can be separated into at least 12 different body parts and organs. The model shows the details of the external and internal anatomy: one side shows the muscular structure of the sheep and the other, the external structure. The complete model can be divided along a sagittal cut, which makes it possible to see the internal structure of the animal’s thorax and the organs of the digestive, reproductive and excretory systems, which in turn can be taken apart into pieces.
These are:
– 2 body halves, divisible along the sagittal cut
– stomach (2 pieces),
– small and large intestine
– heart (2 parts)
– liver with spleen
– one limb
– lung,
– 2-part uterus (reproductive system),
– rectum, bladder, excretory system
