Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The model shows a mid-sagittal section of the male pelvic anatomy, allowing detailed observation of the catheter’s internal path during catheterisation practice. The viewing window shows the Foley catheter advancing through the urethra.

Unlike a surface model, it does not have a functional bladder, but it does reproduce the normal anatomical restrictions at the bulbous urethra and the bladder sphincter, so learners can identify and feel these resistance points during insertion, just as would happen in a real patient.

It is supplied with one catheter, a 50 cc bulb syringe, lubricant, an instruction manual and a rigid carrying case.
