Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model reproduces the vulva intact and realistically moulded, allowing learners to practise identifying the urethral meatus and correctly spreading the labia before inserting the catheter, just as would be done with the patient.
Unlike the equivalent male model, it incorporates a functional bladder: once the Foley catheter is correctly placed, simulated urine flow can be seen through the viewing window, giving learners a clear confirmation that catheterisation was successful.
It is supplied with one catheter, lubricant, an instruction manual and a rigid carrying case.
