What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This ultrasound kidney biopsy simulator allows practice in obtaining ultrasound images and procedural skills, including using the ultrasound system controls, positioning and moving the transducer, recognising kidney anatomy and rib appearance, orienting the proper location for kidney biopsy, and performing an ultrasound-guided kidney biopsy procedure.

Features
GENERAL:- Contains anatomically correct internal structures, including ribs, right kidney with surrounding tissue and renal anatomy.
- The simulated kidney contains the renal cortex, renal medulla, and major and minor calyces. The tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for more than 1,000 punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle.
- Can be used for repeat core needle biopsies or needle aspirations.
- Dimensions: 71 cm x 46 cm x 43 cm
