Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Super-soft, realistic silicone placenta and umbilical cord. In the version with vessels, the cord incorporates three lines: a smiley-shaped vein and two 2 mm arteries with inner tubing, allowing practice of umbilical vessel access.

The attachment version connects to the umbilical stump of the simulation baby and has no vessels. Thanks to its size, it is the recommended placenta for birth scenarios inside the uterus or the manikin.

VARIANTS:

With arteries and vein

USE:

Lubricate the vein before accessing it for easier entry
In the attachment version, connect the cord to the baby's umbilical stump

CARE:

Wash with warm soapy water and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol
Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer
If the silicone becomes shiny, wipe off the residue with isopropyl alcohol and matt with talcum powder
Store clean and dry in a cool, dark place
