The filigree suture pad allows incision and closure along the linea alba during abdominal procedures in the rat.
This thin rat abdominal wall is specially designed with filigree skin and musculature. The external genitalia and teats are incorporated as realistic external landmarks. The integrated linea alba allows incisions, skin sutures and surgical tying techniques to be performed under realistic conditions.
