Realizar los cuidados faciales: lavado del cabello y de la cara, medicación en ojos y oídos, higiene bucal y cuidado de la prótesis dental.
Practicar los cuidados integrales: baño en cama y cambio de ropa.
Colocar la sonda nasogástrica, alimentar por vía oral y nasal y realizar el lavado gástrico.
Ejecutar el sondaje y el lavado vesical femenino y masculino y administrar enemas.
Administrar inyecciones intramusculares en el deltoides, el glúteo medio, el cuadrante superoexterno del glúteo y el vasto externo, y realizar la punción venosa.
Manejar la vía aérea: intubación endotraqueal, aspiración de secreciones, cuidados de la traqueotomía y oxigenoterapia.
