Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This model shows a section of the upper trunk in the sagittal plane. The section passes through the nose, the mouth, the pharynx, the trachea, the oesophagus and the stomach. A feeding tube or a catheter can be introduced through the nose or through the mouth as far as the oesophagus and the stomach. It has a tracheostoma for demonstrating endotracheal suctioning.
