Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Our newborn airway management task trainer is a practical and affordable solution for teaching and practising intubation. The model represents a full-term newborn and allows for 9 cm of endotracheal tube insertion to achieve mid-trachea placement.
The airway is both realistic and functional, featuring an inflatable chest and the ability to observe right mainstem intubation when it occurs – helping learners recognise and correct the error. The tongue is soft and flexible, and the epiglottis has a realistic omega shape. Vocal cords are visible without applying downward pressure on the head – the forces are calibrated to reflect real-life conditions.
The model is fully modular, with each part easily replaceable in seconds. It is one of the most realistic newborn airway trainers available, without the high price tag.
Key features
- Easy vocal cord visualisation – built to match the feel of real intubation.
- Fully modular design – all parts can be removed and replaced in seconds.
- Realistic chest movement – the chest rises with ventilation and allows for gentle compression.
This reference (C0009-P): light skin, hand-painted finish.
Hand-painted individually, so minor variations in colour and detail are part of the character of each model. The finish is cosmetic only – functional performance is identical to the standard version.
