Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The kit allows realistic needle decompression practice on patient simulators or live actors, as it is worn under the uniform or protective gear, protecting the wearer during the procedure.

It reproduces human anatomy with simulated skin, subcutaneous tissue, sternum, rib and clavicle, with bony landmarks for locating the puncture site and a realistic haptic response. It supports training in managing spontaneous and traumatic tension pneumothorax; a correct needle decompression is felt with an audible hiss of escaping air.

The skin and tissues are durable and replaceable, and the material is latex-free.
