Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The simulator reproduces the particular shape of the male urethra. The urinary catheter is introduced with the appropriate technique until the bladder is reached and, on arrival, urine (water) comes out.
The feel of the penis is very close to that of a real penis. Techniques such as disinfecting the area around the urethral meatus and cleaning the pubic area can be practised.
The main body separates along the midline, so that you can study the shape of the urethra, the position of the catheter and the anatomical relationships.
Features
– The simulator is full size and allows catheterisation and glycerine enema in an adult male to be practised.
– As the pubic area is made of soft, elastic materials, the appearance and the feel are realistic during practice.
– All the catheterisation techniques can be practised: disinfection of the pubic area, insertion, securing and removal of the catheter.
– The shape of the simulator makes it necessary to handle the penis correctly in order to pass through the urethra.
If the penis is not in the correct position during insertion, introducing the catheter is difficult.
– Techniques such as retracting the foreskin, disinfecting and cleaning can be carried out.
– The mobility of the penis is also close to that of a real penis.
– This makes it possible to practise securing the penis.
– The main body separates and the urethra and the bladder are transparent, which makes it possible to check how the catheter enters the urethra and how the balloon sits inside the bladder.
– By changing the prostate, urethral stricture due to hypertrophy is reproduced.
– The specific accessory for the glycerine enema is introduced through the anus as far as the rectum, which makes it possible to practise the glycerine enema.
Size: 29 x 53 x 32 cm,
Weight: 2.3 kg
