What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This model shows a frontal section of the human kidney enlarged 3 times. The kidney is shown with the renal capsule, along with the cortex, medulla, pyramids with papillae, a partially dissected renal pelvis, renal calices, ureter, blood vessels, and the suprarenal gland with its cortex and medulla.

A schematic representation of the renal corpuscle with the collecting tubule system is included.

It is mounted on a base with a stand. Size: 15x17x33 cm. Weight: approximately 1000 g.
