Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model simulates the abdomen of an adult male, with a soft, realistic skin surface and precise anatomical landmarks: chest, clavicle, sternal angle, ribs, intercostal spaces, xiphoid process, costal arch, ilium, anterior superior iliac spine, pubis and epigastric angle.
A sensor monitoring system tracks the sequence and area of surgical field disinfection, and alerts the user when a procedural error is made, allowing guided training in aseptic technique prior to gastric surgery.
