Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This model, at half life size, shows in detail the anatomy of the biliary tract and its surroundings. Both the tissue changes caused by chronic inflammation and those of acute inflammation (cholecystitis) are represented in the wall of the gallbladder. The gallstones are shown in the following typical locations:
– spiral valve- fundus of the gallbladder- common bile duct- papillary opening into the small intestine.
