Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This is the manikin used in advanced life support in obstetrics (ALSO) training programmes. An anatomically correct pelvic model, with a premature fetus and a full-term one, so that students can realistically practise various techniques and learn the emergency delivery procedure. The soft vinyl pelvis reproduces the resistance found in a delivery that requires forceps or a vacuum extractor. Supplied with a removable abdominal cover, powder for preparing simulated blood, an additional vulva and a soft carry bag. Neither the forceps nor the vacuum extractor is included.
