Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This model shows the process of fetal development from the unfertilised ovum to the ninth month of gestation. It consists of five parts: the first shows the developmental stages – ovulation, fertilisation, zygote formation and uterine implantation – that take place in the ovary, fallopian tube and uterus. The other parts show the fetus at 2 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 9 months of development.
It is mounted on a board.
