What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
We offer what is probably the only fetal skull with the calvarium sectioned. The detail of this skull, which includes the ear ossicles, all the sutures of the calvarium and the fontanelles, makes it a valuable teaching tool for teacher and clinician alike. By removing the calvarium, the osteologist can study the complex anatomy of the endocranium, in particular the courses of the foramina of the skull base and of the orbit.
