What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This is a simulation model for perfecting castration surgery in the dog. It allows the skin incision, the fascia incision, the ligation of the spermatic cord and of the arteries and veins, the removal of the testicles and suturing to be simulated. Both the prescrotal and the scrotal incision can be performed. It weighs about 345 g and measures 11 cm long, 11 cm wide and 8 cm high.
The model is based on a cartridge of which only the contents are replaced, while the body is kept, which means a saving.
