What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Model of a breeding sow at 1/2 life size. Intended for teaching, for pupils and students. The model is mounted on a wheeled base and can be divided into two parts along the sagittal plane. The right part shows the outer skin of the animal and the left part, the musculature of the body and the limbs. When the two halves are separated, the left side shows the thorax and the abdominal cavity with removable organs (lung, kidney and large intestine), and the right side shows the main blood vessels, the heart and the wall of the abdominal cavity with removable organs: stomach, liver, spleen, kidney with adrenal gland, small intestine and uterus. The half of the head can also be separated from the half showing the musculature. The model can be divided into 20 parts.
