Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Patients can use this soft abdomen replica as support for learning the correct injection technique and the rotation of the puncture sites. The instructor can explain the injection technique and, for example, how to avoid the 5 cm area around the navel. The replica is suitable for practising self-injection with different types of syringe, such as pens. The trainer’s skin has the feel of real abdominal tissue and makes it possible to explain and practise how to form an abdominal fold. The rear part of the model is puncture-resistant, so injury is not possible. Fluids can be injected and are then removed by dismantling the model and wringing out the foam core. If fluids are injected, the foam core must be air-dried after the exercise. The injection should not be done with real insulin, but preferably with distilled water. With good care and appropriate use, the injection abdomen lasts a long time and supports several hundred injections.
Measurements: 26x17x5 cm, weight 0.3 kg
