What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This lifting figure clearly shows the state the spine is in when a load is lifted correctly or incorrectly. If the figure lifts the load correctly, that is, bending the knees and keeping the back straight, all the vertebrae stay together and the load is spread across the whole vertebra. If the figure lifts the load with the legs straight and bending the back, the spine separates and gaps appear between the vertebrae. The patient sees clearly that the load presses on the front part of the vertebra, which can cause disc injuries. A very useful aid for any practice.
