Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This liquid reproduces the appearance of arterial blood and is used to fill the simulated circulatory system of compatible manikins, such as the arterial puncture arm. When the access point is punctured correctly, the instructor and trainee can see the flashback of liquid, which acts as visual confirmation of technique.
It is a consumable intended to be replenished after several practice sessions, allowing the arterial blood gas exercise to be repeated with different trainees without losing the characteristic visual effect of the puncture.
