What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
Charise is a female leopard simulator that was developed together with Cincinnati Zoo based on live models. The hand painting makes each leopard unique.
With its detailed genital tract, it provides a realistic simulation of this animal species. In the integrated uterus, a gynaecological examination can be performed through a speculum or an endoscope. Artificial insemination can be trained with a balloon catheter or with endoscope-guided catheterisation of the cervix. The uterus features a detailed mucosa with secondary folds, the dorsal median fold and a cervix.
