Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Unlike simulators with interchangeable stomas, this model focuses on a single case: a retracted stoma that has sunk below skin level, a situation that is often harder to get a good pouch seal on.

The soft, flexible material gives a realistic tactile feel, and the stoma allows genuine irrigation with the included syringe, as well as letting dilation and permanent pouching system application be practised.

It is mounted on a display easel, making it easy to show to a group before moving on to individual practice, and the consistency of the simulated stool can be adjusted by adding water.
