With the world’s only fully automated, wearable birthing simulator—Avbirth—you can now include learning objectives like closed-loop communication with an interprofessional team and therapeutic communication with the patient and their support person through all phases of labor and delivery. Avbirth pairs with the app, allowing a wide range of simulations—including advanced scenarios like shoulder dystocia or postpartum hemorrhage.

Key features

Haptic Feedback. Learners can practice coaching the patient appropriately throughout all phases of childbirth. This fully automated, wearable birthing simulator cues the patient about the onset, intensity, and duration of each contraction with haptic vibrations on the wrist.
Natal Fluids. Facilitators can control the release of natal fluids from the two reusable bags housed within the abdomen.
Pre-Programmed Simulations. Three pre-programmed simulations let facilitators focus on the live simulation experience while automation handles workflow.
Birthing Complications. Avbirth offers the full spectrum of vaginal birth scenarios—from uncomplicated to OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia.
Skin tones. Available in three skin tones.
