Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This model, enlarged to 2 times life size, shows the open caecum together with the appendix, the terminal ileum, the ileocaecal orifice and its valve.
Blood vessels and lymph nodes in the region are also represented, allowing the anatomy of the ileocaecal junction to be studied in more detail than a life-size model would allow.
