What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

True to its pedigree, the AirSim Baby has absolutely realistic anatomy and clinical functionality that allows all basic and advanced paediatric airway management manoeuvres.

The AirSim Baby makes it easy to learn bag/mask ventilation, supraglottic airway insertion and both types of intubation: nasotracheal and orotracheal. It can also be used with all types of video laryngoscope.

With airways similar to real ones, it allows the learning of all aspects of airway management in the child, including positive pressure ventilation, laryngeal mask insertion and endotracheal intubation (nasal and oral).

The recommended size for tracheal tubes is 3.5-4.0; the recommended size for the supraglottic airway is 1.

The realistic external and internal anatomical features allow the easy and successful demonstration of all paediatric video laryngoscopes.

The recommended video laryngoscope size is 1.

Presented in a solid but lightweight frame, the AirSim Baby is fitted with its own lungs to demonstrate correct tube placement and is carefully packed in a lightweight case for easy transport.
