Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The pad has four barely visible blue veins of three different calibres, one of them set deep within a semi-transparent tissue layer that makes it harder to locate. On palpation, the skin moves over the vein as in a real patient, and puncture produces a characteristic “pop” followed by a flashback of simulated blood confirming correct needle placement.
It is made of latex-free Dermalike material, which reduces needle drag on insertion and withstands a high number of punctures without tearing, allowing repeated use across sessions. It supports both blood draws and fluid injection.
It measures 5 x 10 x 1.5 inches and sits on a backing plate that acts as protection.
